How To Hire The Best Physicians For Your Hospital

How To Hire The Best Physicians For Your Hospital

According to Statista data, there were 1,062,205 active professional physicians in America in September 2021. It is no secret that the healthcare industry has high turnover rates, so you may have to search for new and suitable talent more often than you would want to. Finding and recruiting excellent physician candidates is one of the hardest tasks any hospital can tackle, but you can enjoy great success by following helpful strategies. Below are some top tips for hiring the right doctors for your hospital.

  1. Pay attention to cultural fit

Physicians at your medical practice must have certain core values and skills to excel. However, you cannot turn a blind eye to their potential for cultural fit, which simply means how a candidate’s behaviors, beliefs, and values fit within the framework established by current employees. Finding a good cultural fit doesn’t mean avoiding diversity. In fact, a diverse workforce can help you outperform competitors by 35%, so experts encourage you to prioritize diversity when hiring. Cultural fit simply implies considering how a potential candidate would like your work environment on a more personal level. It is vital to pay attention to cultural fit because if your candidate and existing staff don’t like the fit, productivity may decrease, and you will likely have to start the hiring process again.

  1. Vet the best candidates

Medical practice fraud is a top concern for all hospitals, but you can avoid it altogether by vetting the best candidates for roles. This vetting should include checking candidates’ backgrounds using a credentialing management system to confirm that they meet standards for delivering clinical care. Previous employers and ex-colleagues can also tell you a lot about a candidate, so contacting these references is vital during the hiring process. Researching candidates will ensure that your hospital hires the most qualified, honest, and reliable physicians.

  1. Assess candidates’ soft skills

A Wonderlic study discovered that 93% of hiring leaders considered soft skills essential when making hiring decisions. Many modern employers even consider more important than technical skills when hiring people. It is vital to note that physicians must have a people-centered approach to shine in their roles, so you should also prioritize soft skills during the hiring process. Effective communication, the ability to relate well with patients and colleagues alike, and listening skills are key traits to look out for. You can prepare appropriate interview questions to ensure that candidates have these traits. Also, you can leverage psychometric assessment tools before inviting candidates for in-person meetings.

  1. Revamp your recruiting procedures

Your hospital’s recruitment team may need to revise its hiring procedures to find the best physicians available. Therefore, ask your hiring department whether your hospital posts openings on trusted medical sites. You can also find out other ways through which open positions are being marketed and whether hiring managers are conducting in-depth interviews. Slight adjustments like advertising job openings to more diverse candidates and conducting multiple-part interviews can significantly improve your entire hiring process, so keep this in mind.

5 Tips for Making the Switch to Sustainable Products

You have surely heard of the sustainability movement for using more natural supplies. And you may want to switch to sustainable products. Here are some valuable tips.

Buy Zero-Waste Everyday Items

One of the most effective ways to be more sustainable is to reduce your waste. All over the world, people waste silly amounts of plastic on single-use items, energy in homes, and water when cleaning or even drinking. But there are many everyday items you can reuse. These include water bottles and coffee cups, food containers, and even cleaning products. For example, organic shampoo and soaps are typically zero-waste. And hand soap refill products are becoming more popular to increase the life of soap while reducing plastic bottles.

Use Alternative and Recycled Materials

Many of the materials we use require refinement and processing in factories that make a lot of carbon. Additionally, they might not be renewable or sustainable. However, you can help make an impact with alternative and recycled materials. For example, recycled toilet paper might sound unappealing, but it’s perfectly safe and reduces forest destruction. Additionally, there are many suitable replacements for everyday items. Bamboo is one material with many uses and is replacing all kinds of stuff. Stuff like dinner plates, cutlery, and even plastic wrapping.

Switch to Sustainable Products for Energy

Energy is a hot topic at the moment because of sharply increasing costs. And you may not be aware that almost all of your energy comes from nonrenewable materials like fossil fuels, gas, and oil. But there are energy suppliers you can switch to for cleaner, safer and sustainable energy. Their power supply is typically generated by wind, the sun, underground heating, or rushing water. Even modern nuclear energy techniques are considered sustainable because of the way minerals are mined. And the end results are completely clean and carbon-free.

Check the Manufacturing Processes

Firms must state how they convert raw materials into finished products in most countries. And in some, the packaging needs to show whether materials are recycled, sustainable, or even fair trade. So if you want to make a switch to sustainable products, all you need to do is read the labels in most situations. And if you can’t find what you need on the packaging of a product, you can always visit their website or Google it. But with sustainability becoming more popular, brands are going out of their way to becoming part of the movement.

Support Local Industry Over Big Corporates

It’s no secret that massive companies generally pollute more than small businesses. Coca-Cola, for example, has decimated the water supply of some towns where its bottling factories are located. And just Google the DuPont company for some horrific and absolutely true cases of illness and rampant resource consumption. Some brands offer “natural” alternatives to products, but they aren’t much better than the originals. However, local companies source ingredients in sustainable ways. Organic soap and shampoo and organic grocers and prime examples.

Many of the products you buy at the store aren’t sustainable. Instead, you can switch to zero-waste items, use alternative materials, and check how something is made.

The Role of Transparency in the Success of a Business

Transparency is a principle of openness, honesty, and accountability. It’s an ethical concept that has been championed by some of the most successful businesses in history. One study found that when companies are highly transparent to their employees, they are more engaged and productive at work. But how does transparency affect your company culture? Here are ten ways that transparency can contribute to the success of your business:

1. It builds trust.

When you’re transparent with your employees, they’re more likely to trust you. And when your employees trust you, they’re more likely to be engaged and motivated to do their best work. Trust is the foundation of any successful relationship, and it’s no different in the workplace. Transparency also helps you gain the trust of your customers, which is essential for building long-term relationships with them.

2. It creates a positive company culture.

Transparency fosters a positive company culture by encouraging open communication and collaboration. When employees feel like they can openly share their ideas and concerns, they’re more likely to be engaged and committed to their work. Positive company culture is also attractive to potential employees, which can help you attract and retain top talent.

3. It encourages productivity.

When employees feel like they’re in the loop, they’re more likely to be productive. Transparency fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility, which can lead to increased productivity. For example, Seah Moon Ming focused on improving the issues in SMRT’s train operations in Singapore using transparent communication with his team and open feedback sessions. As the SMRT Chairman, he helped to increase productivity and morale within the company.

4. It promotes innovation.

Transparency encourages employees to share their ideas and suggestions, which can lead to innovation. When employees feel like their voices are heard, they’re more likely to be creative and come up with new ideas. For example, 3M’s Post-It Note was invented by someone who had the freedom to experiment and share his ideas with others. This culture of innovation has helped 3M become one of the most successful companies in the world.

5. It increases accountability.

Transparency increases accountability. Accountability refers to the willingness to accept responsibility for one’s actions. When employees know that their actions will be transparent to others, they’re more likely to be accountable for their work. This can lead to improved quality and reduced mistakes. Some companies use transparency to increase accountability by sharing data and metrics with their employees. For example, Atul Gawande, the author of The Checklist Manifesto, uses transparency to increase accountability in surgical teams. He found that when surgeons shared their data with each other, they were more likely to catch mistakes and improve the quality of their work.

6. It improves decision-making.

Transparency leads to better decision-making because it gives employees the information they need to make informed decisions. Every time a decision is made, it should be based on factual data and evidence. When employees have access to this data, they’re more likely to make decisions in the company’s best interest. Amazon uses transparency to improve decision-making. The company shares data with employees so they can make informed decisions on a daily basis.

7. It reduces conflict.

Transparency can also help reduce conflict because it allows employees to see different points of view and make informed decisions. When employees feel like they have a voice in the decision-making process, they’re less likely to feel like their opinions are being ignored. This can lead to reduced conflict and a more positive work environment.

The benefits of transparency are clear. But how do you create a more transparent workplace? Here are a few suggestions:

1. Communicate openly and frequently.

The first step is to communicate openly and frequently with your employees. This means being transparent about the company’s goals, plans, and decisions.

2. Encourage employee input.

Encourage employees to share their ideas and suggestions. This can be done through open communication channels, such as company-wide meetings, town halls, or an anonymous suggestion box.

3. Be clear about expectations.

Be clear about your expectations for employees. This includes setting clear goals and objectives. When employees know what’s expected of them, they’re more likely to meet or exceed those expectations.

4. Provide feedback.

Provide employees with feedback regularly. This feedback should be both positive and constructive. Positive feedback will help employees feel appreciated, while constructive feedback will help them improve their performance.

5. Hold everyone accountable.

Hold everyone accountable for their actions. You need to include all of your managers, executives, and employees. When everyone is accountable, it creates a culture of responsibility and excellence.

Transparency is a key ingredient in the success of any business. Creating a more transparent workplace can increase employee satisfaction, improve decision-making, and reduce conflict. Implement these suggestions to create a more transparent workplace and reap the benefits of a more open and effective organization.

Regret Triggers When Taking Your Car to a Summer Road Trip

Summer is almost here, and you know what that means- road trips! Road trips are the perfect time to enjoy the weather, see new sights, and spend time with family and friends. However, before you hit the open road, you should do a few things to make sure your car is ready for the trip.

This goes beyond planning your destination and go-to activities. If there is one thing you can’t afford to forget, it’s your car. The following are the worst car mistakes you can make when preparing for your next road trip this summer.

Skipping Car Maintenance and Inspection

Before going on any road trip, it’s vital to get your car serviced and inspected. This is especially true if you’re planning a long trip. You don’t want to be stranded on the side of the road with a broken-down car.

If you’re not sure when your car’s last service was, now is the time to find out. Check your owner’s manual for specific servicing requirements. It makes sense to get your oil changed before embarking on a long journey.

It’s also important to have your car inspected by a mechanic. They can check for any potential problems that could occur while you’re on the road. This is something you don’t want to neglect because it could cost you a lot of money in the long run.

If you’re taking a road trip in the summer, you’re going to want to make sure your car’s AC unit is in working order. There’s nothing worse than being stuck in a hot car for hours.

Before you hit the road, test out your AC unit to make sure it’s blowing cold air. If not, you’ll need to get it serviced before your trip. You want to make sure that you take your car to the pros, as they have the necessary tools for your car’s air conditioning maintenance.

Packing Too Much Stuff

When packing for your road trip, it’s important not to overdo it. You don’t want your car to be so packed that there’s no room for anyone to sit comfortably. This will just make for a long and uncomfortable trip.

Only pack the essentials and be sure to leave some room in the trunk for any souvenirs you may want to bring home with you. You can always plan on making a few stops along the way to pick up anything else you may need. Avoiding overload will ensure you won’t put unnecessary strain on your car and cause problems down the road.

Not Planning Your Route

One of the worst things you can do when taking a road trip is not planning your route. This can lead to getting lost, which will add more time to your trip.

Be sure to map out your route before you leave to know precisely where you’re going. You can even use apps like Google Maps or Waze to help you plan your route and avoid any traffic delays.

Not Planning for Emergencies

No matter how well you plan, there’s always the potential for something to go wrong on your road trip. That’s why it’s important to prepare for any emergencies that may come up.

Be sure to pack a first-aid kit, a spare tire, jumper cables, and a flashlight. These are just a few of the things you’ll need in case of an emergency. It’s also a good idea to have some cash on hand if you need to make any unexpected stops.

It also makes sense that you know nearby mechanics near your destination. This can come in handy should you need any unexpected repairs.

Not Checking Your Tire Pressure

One of the most important things to check before going on a road trip is tire pressure. This is something that is often overlooked but can have serious consequences.

If your tires are not properly inflated, it can lead to decreased gas mileage and increased wear and tear on your tires. It can also make your car more difficult to handle, which can be dangerous if you’re driving in unfamiliar territory.

To avoid this, check your tire pressure before you leave. You can do this yourself with a tire pressure gauge or take it to a service station to have it done.

You can never be too prepared when planning a road trip. This is why it helps if you can keep this list in mind. This way, you can avoid any potential problems that could occur. You can ensure that your road trip goes off without a hitch and avoid unnecessary regrets down the road.

Unfortunately, many people struggle with mental health issues, which can negatively impact their lives in a number of ways. 1. Better Self-Awareness

Mental health allows you to be more self-aware – that is, more aware of what motivates you and makes you feel satisfied at work or in your personal life. This greater awareness can help you make better decisions, set more realistic goals, and prioritize the important things in your life.

2. Increased Resilience

Mental health also helps you better cope with life’s setbacks and challenges. When you have strong mental health, you are better able to bounce back from difficult situations, recover quickly from loss or adversity, and move forward with optimism and hope. This is an essential ingredient for success – without it, it can be easy to become discouraged when facing obstacles or rejection.

3. Improved Social Skills

Maintaining good mental health allows you to interact effectively with others, both at work and outside of the workplace. If your mental health issues interfere with your ability to connect with others or develop positive relationships, it will undoubtedly impact your success. Good social skills are essential for networking, building collaborative relationships, and creating a strong support system – all of which can help you achieve your goals. The mental health stats indicate that socializing is a critical factor today.

4. Greater Productivity

Mental health is also linked to productivity – when you’re mentally healthy, you have the focus and energy needed to get things done. This is especially important in the workplace, where being able to meet deadlines and contribute to your team’s success is essential for career advancement. If mental health issues are holding you back from being as productive as you could be, it will undoubtedly impact your ability to succeed.

5. Enhanced Decision-Making Skills

Mental health allows you to think clearly and act rationally, even in times of stress or uncertainty. This enables you to make good decisions and solve problems more effectively, which is key to achieving success. Whether you’re making career choices or facing challenges at home, having strong mental health will help you think strategically and overcome obstacles with ease.

6. Improved Physical Health

It’s important to remember that mental and physical health are closely linked. When you’re mentally healthy, you’re more likely to take care of your physical health as well – eating right, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep. This is important because being physically healthy gives you the energy and stamina needed to stay focused and successful in all areas of your life.

In Conclusion

There are many different ways that mental health is linked to success. By improving your self-awareness, coping skills, social skills, productivity levels, and decision-making abilities, you can achieve greater success in all areas of your life. If you are struggling with a mental health issue and feel like it is impacting your ability to succeed, seek professional help as soon as possible. With the right treatment and support, it is possible to turn things around.

Ways to Make Your Moving Company More Sustainable

As the world becomes increasingly more environmentally conscious, businesses are looking for ways to make their operations more sustainable. As a moving company owner, you have several opportunities to reduce your environmental impact while still providing your customers with quality service.

Here are a few ways to make your moving company more sustainable:

1. Use recycled packing materials

One way to make your moving company more sustainable is to use recycled packing materials. This can include using secondhand boxes and discarded paper products for wrapping fragile items.

You can also look for local vendors that sell these materials, as it will help reduce your carbon footprint by reducing the need for shipping. If you can’t find recycled materials in your area, consider investing in reusable packing products instead.

2. Minimize the use of fuel and vehicle emissions

Another way to make your moving company more sustainable is to minimize the use of fuel and vehicle emissions. You can do this by using smaller vehicles for local moves and promoting the use of public transportation or carpooling for long-distance moves.

You can also find logistics solutions for trucking companies that are more eco-friendly than traditional options. Some companies are even beginning to use electric vehicles for their moving services.

3. Invest in green energy

Green energy is a great way to make your moving company more sustainable. You can invest in solar panels to power your office and fleet of vehicles. You can also look into wind energy and other renewable energy options. This will help reduce your carbon footprint and also save you money in the long run.

4. Educate your team and customers on sustainability

Your employees are a vital part of making your moving company more sustainable. Educate them on the importance of sustainability and how they can help in the business’s day-to-day operations. You can also provide incentives for employees who make an effort to be more sustainable.

Of course, you can also let your customers play a role in your move towards sustainability. For example, you may offer discounts on moving services for customers who bring their own reusable boxes or packing materials. You can also encourage customers to donate their unwanted items instead of throwing them away.

5. Implement a recycling program

Recycling is a great way to reduce waste and make your moving company more sustainable. You can set up a recycling program for unwanted items such as boxes, packing materials, and electronics. You can also work with local vendors to find ways to recycle or repurpose any items that are still in good condition.

Different materials will have different recycling options, so be sure to do your research and explore all of the possibilities. Some companies even offer pick-up and drop-off services for recycled materials.

6. Go paperless

One of the easiest ways to make your moving company more sustainable is to go paperless. Consider switching to digital receipts and invoices and online client portals for booking services and tracking shipments.

You can also promote electronic payments to reduce the need for paper bills and checks. Not only will this help save trees and reduce your environmental impact, but it will also help make your business more efficient.

7. Choose local vendors and suppliers

Choosing to work with local vendors and suppliers allows you to reduce the need for transporting goods long distances. This can help cut your carbon footprint in half since shipping materials and products often require a great deal of fuel.

When possible, try to find vendors and suppliers within a reasonable driving distance from your office. You can also look for companies that carry recycled materials and products.

8. Get the word out about your sustainability efforts

Sometimes, the best way to make your moving company more sustainable is to simply tell people about it. Use your website, social media, and marketing materials to let your customers and clients know about your steps to be more eco-friendly.

You can also write blog posts or articles, give interviews, or host events to further spread the word. By raising awareness about your sustainability efforts, you can encourage others to do the same.

9. Commit to sustainability long-term

If you’re truly committed to making your moving company more sustainable, it’s important to commit to these efforts long-term. This means that you should always be looking for ways to continuously improve your current processes and find new opportunities. Be sure to assess your efforts and make adjustments as needed regularly.

Making your moving company more sustainable can seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. There are many ways to make your business more eco-friendly, including investing in green energy, educating your team and customers on sustainability, and implementing a recycling program.

But if you want to make a difference, it’s important to commit to these efforts long-term. Whether you choose to focus on one or all of these strategies, the key is to make sustainability a priority and stay dedicated to your efforts.

Workplace Wellness: Basic Break Room Necessities

Having a break every once in a while is crucial to staying productive at work. However, making the most out of your break time requires more than just taking your mind off work for a couple of minutes.

Studies have shown that how you spend your break can affect your productivity and motivation for the rest of the day, which is why a well-equipped and inviting break room is essential for any workplace.

Do you want to encourage your employees to take full advantage of their break time? Here are some essential elements that your break room should have to promote wellness among your employees:

Comfortable Seating

A break room is not a break room without comfortable chairs or couches. Employees should be able to relax and even take a quick nap if they need to. A place to sit and unwind will help them recharge and get back to work feeling refreshed.

So, investing in good-quality chairs and couches is necessary for any break room. You can even add bean bags or floor cushions for employees who prefer to lounge on the floor.

However, be careful not to overcrowd the break room with too much furniture. Leave enough space for employees to move around freely and enjoy their break without feeling cramped.

Healthy Snacks

No matter how good your office’s food is, there will always be days when employees want something different. Instead of buying lunch, they can save time and money by snacking on something in the break room.

Of course, you want to make sure that the snacks available are healthy and satisfying. Some good options include fruits, nuts, yogurt, and granola bars. You can also offer healthy drinks like fruit juice and herbal tea.

If a pantry might not be an option for your budget, consider having a snack machine. These are becoming increasingly popular in offices, and they’re a great way to offer a variety of healthy snacks without breaking the bank.

Utensils and Appliances

If your break room has a kitchen, ensure it’s well-stocked with all the utensils and appliances employees might need. It includes everything from plates and cups to a toaster oven and a microwave.

If possible, try to get energy-efficient appliances. It will help you save on your electricity bill while also being more environmentally friendly. You can also encourage employees to bring their reusable plates and cups from home to reduce your environmental impact further.

This way, they can feel at home while at work and make the most of their break time.

Table Games and Activities

Adding some table games and activities to your break room will encourage employees to socialize and take a break from work-related thoughts. It’s a great way to promote teamwork and build relationships between employees.

Some good options for games include darts, ping pong, pool, and foosball. You can also add a few board games like chess or checkers. If you have the budget, you can even get a video game console for employees to enjoy during their break.

You can set up a TV area with comfy chairs and a few magazines or books for activities. Employees can watch their favorite shows or read a book to relax during their break.

Retreat and Relaxation Corner

Sitting for hours and staring at a computer screen can be tiring and stressful. That’s why it’s crucial to create a space where employees can retreat and relax.

Consider adding a corner with some aromatic candles and massage devices. You can also add a peppermint essential oil that helps release muscle tension and improve concentration. A few cushions and blankets to the area for employees to use will also be a great idea. They can curl up with a book or take a nap on their break.

Coffee and Tea Nook

No break room is complete without a coffee and tea nook. After all, these beverages are essential to help employees stay energized and focused throughout the day.

Make sure to offer a variety of coffee and tea flavors so that everyone can find something they like. You can also add some milk and sugar options to customize each beverage.

An electric kettle and a coffee maker are essential for any coffee corner. You can also get a fancy espresso machine if you have the budget. With these items, employees can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee on their break and return to their desks feeling refreshed.

Creating an ideal break room doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Simple elements such as comfortable seating, healthy snacks, utensils and appliances, table games, a retreat area, and a beverage nook can promote workplace wellness. You can make your break room a space where employees will love spending time with these basics.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to spend your life traveling the country with your family in tow? Well, now’s your chance to find out! However, it doesn’t have to be a scary or nerve-wracking experience with the proper preparation. Instead, it can be one of the most memorable phases of your life. This blog post will learn about the top RVing tips that will make your first-time RVing a breeze. Read on to learn more about this exciting lifestyle.

The Newer The Better

One of the biggest mistakes people make when they start RVing is buying an older RV. While you might get a great deal on an older model, it’s more likely that it will need a lot of work to keep up with modern standards. RV maintenance can be expensive and time-consuming, and the age of your vehicle compounds these costs. If you want to buy an RV, try to purchase one manufactured within the last ten years. This way, you’ll avoid costly repairs and find yourself with a newer style of RV that offers the latest features. In short, newer is better when it comes to new RVs.

Know The Different Types of RVs

RVs come in different shapes and sizes and have different capabilities. Understand your needs before jumping right into buying an RV and know the different types on the market;

  • Travel Trailer
  • Motorhome
  • Fifth Wheel
  • Class A Motorhome
  • Class C Motorhome
  • Pop-Up Camper

Understand How It Works Before Driving Off

Ask all the questions before bringing your RV home. Anything you think you might need to know includes plumbing, electricity, weight limits, fuel, repairs, and more. Ask your dealer for recommendations for specialist repair centers, including RV auto glass repair. This will help you to avoid further issues if you have any problems. Keep any contact details or insurance documents handy when on the road, too, to have what you need to hand.

Practice Driving and Turning Before Setting Off

One of the most essential tips for RVing is practicing driving and turning before you set off. This will get you used to maneuvering your vehicle and get you acquainted with the length of your car. You’ll also be less likely to encounter any surprises when you get on the road. Once you start driving, it’s easy to forget that your RV is longer than your last car, making it difficult for other drivers around you.

Know The RV Dimensions and Unit Capabilities

Before you begin your RV adventure, the first thing you want to do is know your RV’s dimensions and unit capabilities. You’ll know if your RVs can handle specific tasks like driving through a tight spot or backing into a camping spot. Ask yourself these questions: – What are the dimensions of my RV? – What are the weight limits of my RV? – What are my towing capabilities? – How much storage space does my RV have?

You must know the answers to these questions before setting out on your trip. This way, you won’t make any mistakes due to a lack of preparation.

Procrastination is a difficult subject to tackle, because many of us procrastinate in various ways. If you’ve spent time looking at your smartphone in bed browsing through the news rather than going to sleep, reading, or getting up and starting your day, it’s true to say that you might be procrastinating.

Another form of procrastination is known as “revenge procrastination,” where the fact that you have few hours of free time due to work or managing a family encourages you to stay up later into the night, so you can have some time to yourself.

One of the most insidious forms of procrastination, however, involves life-planning procrastination. These often influence the little things, such as putting off taking that parcel to the local post office, or avoiding taking your medication when you know you should. Funnily enough, we tend to treat out pets better than ourselves in some circumstances, as we wouldn’t think about ignoring a full course of antibiotic treatment for them should they need it, but many people fail to complete their own.

How can you overcome this life-planning procrastination? Let’s explore that below:

Make A Schedule

It’s good to make a schedule to the degree that you can. This is especially worthwhile for routine tasks or appointments you need to keep. For instance, perhaps every morning on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, you’ll go to the gym and perform your cardio. When you know it’s at the same time each of those days, you can attend with confidence. You’ll do so knowing what to expect, what to do, and how to do it. This can help lessen the mental energy needed to plan for such an outcome, allowing you to do it as a matter of course in the best manner possible.

Use Calendar Tools

Using calendar tools as much as you can be a worthwhile means of knowing what appointments you have when. Google Calendar, Apple’s Calendar, or perhaps a physical journal with dates in it can allow you to keep on top of your essential tasks, keeping you comfortable and never having to remember, or pre-emptively cancel, everything at once. Now you never need forget or procrastinate your essential dental care appointments. You can also set alerts to remind you a few days in advance so you can plan your time around that appropriately. When it’s booked in, you’re less likely to change it.

The Power of Momentum

Once we start ticking things from our list, we tend to be more capable at achieving further tasks. When this momentum is established, it’s a good idea to keep it going and to make sure that you don’t lose it. Try to get into the habit of dealing with tasks as soon as you can, such as taking a morning walk to get exercise, or making a ten minute habit of meditation after lunch. If you’re enrolled in a course, try to complete your study work as soon as you’ve returned home and are able to rest. This can help you tremendously in the long run, as little efforts accrue for the better.

With this advice, you’re certain to overcome life-planning procrastination, even if step-by-step.
