Making Your Old Automobile Much More Efficient

There are plenty of good reasons to want to make your car more fuel efficient. It tends to be better for your parts, cost you less money, and be better for the earth. If you’re noticing that your old car is starting to guzzle more gas (or diesel), then here are a few things you can do to shape it up into a more efficient ride.

Image – CC0 License

Drive smarter

One of the best ways to cut down your fuel consumption is to simply be more mindful about how you’re driving in the first place. For instance, if you’re driving a diesel, you should idle for a couple minutes before taking off. Otherwise, avoid accelerating or decelerating too hard and reduce the weight of the car by not carrying things in the boot when you don’t need to, at least.

Check those tires

Given that they are where all the mechanical force of the car actually meets the road, the tires play a huge role in how much movement you get for every liter you burn and, as a result, your fuel efficiency. Use a tire pressure checker on a regular basis and, at very least, before every journey on a highway. Tires that aren’t aligned properly can begin to wear and tear unevenly, affecting their performance and, thus, your fuel efficiency too.

Keep the engine in good condition

Given that the engine is where the fuel is getting combusted in the first place, ensuring that it’s in good health is key to the car. Replacing old parts, even those as simple head studs that keep it all together, keeps it running better, which means running more efficiently. If your engine is getting on the old side, it’s worth having a closer look taken at it to see what you could get replaced.

Use high quality oil

It’s not just about the car, it’s about what oil you’re actually putting in there, too. This oil is responsible for lubricating all the moving parts of the engine. Low quality oil is more likely to contain particulates that do the opposite and lose its lubricating quality more quickly. For that reason, you should flush the oil currently in the car if it’s not of a high-quality and invest in better.

Consider an air intake system

Aside from the quality of oil that you use, your engine’s performance (namely, the combustion process) is going to be greatly improved with the right mix of oxygen in there. To that end, adding a high-flow cold air intake system to the car can greatly increase air quality and, as a result, fuel combustion rates. You get more out of burning less fuel, meaning you don’t use as a much fuel to get from A to B.

Take care to know when it might be time to replace your car. You can hold back the tides of time and decrease efficiency, but you should keep in mind when it becomes more cost-effective to simply make the switch, as well.

8 Reasons To Automate In Manufacturing

Every single industry out there should be embracing automation in their day to day workings. Not only is it a must to improve quality for your business output, but it’s going to help you to better operate manufacturing systems in your business, too. Automated manufacturing systems work to perform processing, assembly inspection and material handling operations, and oftentimes, more than one of these operations can be performed in the same automated system.

Automation means progress, and while you’re learning software such as Industry 4.0 and understanding what will better suit your business, you’re going to learn fast how automation can improve your business massively. Don’t believe it? Great – look at the EIGHT fantastic reasons your business should be embracing automation right now.

Man Standing Beside Heavy Equipment

  1. Better Productivity. If your team is working on their usual tasks and has the help of automation software, you’re going to increase the production rate and the productivity of your team. For every hour of labor input, you’re going to add a better output from your team. It’s there to help them, and you can make sure that it happens and happens well.
  2. Reduced Costs. The costs of labor are increasing for manufacturing businesses and this is evident in how the world’s industrialized societies are behaving. The increased investment in automation is justifiable, however, as it’ll replace manual operations and while this isn’t good for people, it’s great for the demand on production – which people are responsible for! The more you invest in automation software, the fewer people you are responsible for paying.
  3. Replacing Labor Shortages. In some countries, there are not enough people to do the labor in manufacturing industries. With automation, you can guarantee that the labor will be done at a lower, and sometimes more efficient, cost. There are some areas it becomes dire for manufacturing companies to find the right people – and this is one of them!
  4. Improving Working Conditions. There are some processes and tasks in the workplace that are boring and irksome. When these tasks are automated, you can improve the way in which your staff work and improve their working conditions as a result. Automation software is taking over the tasks they don’t want to do – it’s far more efficient as a result.
  5. Better Safety. Some manufacturing tasks are just too dangerous sometimes, but when you automate a particular operation, you transfer the employee to a supervisory role instead of an active one. This can improve safety in the workplace exponentially.
  6. Higher Product Quality. When there is more uniformity and precision, there are higher production rates that are a better quality overall.
  7. Lead Time Reductions. When you embrace automation, you reduce the time it takes between the orders coming through and delivery of the product. It’s a great way to offer a competitive advantage to your business.
  8. Embracing Machinery. Most machines are continuing to help businesses as they accomplish the tasks that cannot be manually completed. There are certain tasks that cannot be done by man alone, and it’s these tasks that automation helps.

Banish Small Business Stress (Take The Hassle Out Of Running A Small Business)

If you are a small business owner, you are likely familiar with the feeling of being stressed out! After all, with your money and reputation on the line, running a small business can sometimes feel as if you have your whole life at stake! The good news is that some tactics will help to minimise any stress associated with running a small business, while also ensuring your company works as effectively as possible. Keep reading to find out what they are.

Invest in the best IT

In today’s technologically literate world, no business, however, small can do without IT in some form. Whether it’s laptops, smartphones, or wireless point of sale equipment. Indeed, many businesses from the tiny to the massive rely on an infrastructure based around IT. What that means is, if your IT goes down, so does your business. Which, in the best-case scenario means unprofitable downtime, and in the worst-case scenario can mean disaster from which you can never recover.

Fortunately, a lot of the risk involved in IT can be reduced by investing in the best quality hardware, software, and IT management that you can. Indeed, by making sure your IT provision is top-notch you can avoid a great deal of the problems that will cost your business money, and so relieve much of the stress that is on you as an owner.

Leave the finances to the experts

Often in a small business, there is a certain level of flexibility required when it comes to the roles people play and the tasks they do. This means that sometimes those in higher positions have to chip in and do more low-grade tasks like answering phones and stuffing envelopes, just to make sure things get done and vise versa.

However, when it comes to your business’s finances, you most certainly don’t want anyone that isn’t a trained professional taking care of them! After all, it is your business’s finances that will ultimately decide whether you are a success or not and whether you can continue to trade. Therefore getting some help from professional accountancy services is always a smart idea. Especially when it comes to things like completing your tax returns and being compliant with the current financial legislation that applies to your business.

Stay organised

Picture found at Pixabay – License CC0

You may think that organisation is a task for your admin team, and them only! However, being organised is vital for the success of a small business and that means everyone needs to do their part! Owners and managers included. The reason for this is that you or your employees cannot find precisely what you need, when you need it, you will be wasting valuable time, and causing yourself and your other employees a great deal of stress.

With that in mind, just because you are the boss, doesn’t mean it is acceptable to give yourself a free pass to not have organisational systems in place and to keep to them! Remember, a small effort now can save you a mammoth effort and the stress that goes with it later.

Before the Storm: Home Repairs to Check for Summer

We live in a tropical country that is frequented by storms every second half of the year. These storms are often intense, and, given the country’s system, these storms usually take a toll on residential homes.

Summer is fast approaching. In ordinary times, we would be packing our bags for vacation. Instead, we are all still stuck inside our homes due to the pandemic. We can take advantage of this time, though. This season is an excellent time to consider house repairs, given the temperature. It is also a good time to check for needed repairs as there are fewer chances of rainfall. This way, repairs will be more efficiently done.

As we welcome the hottest months of the year, what aspects should you check in your home? What are common house repairs that can be done during summer?

House Repairs

Checking for needed house repairs is essential in maintaining a safe and comfortable home. During storm season, having up-to-date home repairs may mean keeping dry or getting drenched in rainfall. What are things you should check at home for needed repairs?

The first thing you need to check for needed home repairs is your roof. You wouldn’t want any leaks to disturb your remote work or home learning setup during the storm season. Leaks may also affect appliances and other electrical items. To avoid accidents and mishaps, you mustcheck your roof for leaks during the summer. This will provide you time to fix leaks that could otherwise not be repaired once the storm season starts.

Apart from the main home’s roofing, you might want to check the roofing in your patio or deck area. You can change the roofing to adapt to the changing weather by considering installing polycarbonate roofing. This is lightweight, and it can withstand extremely low and high temperatures. It is perfect for unpredictable weather.

Applying a fresh coat of paint to your home exterior is also a good idea during summer. This is more of an aesthetic concern, but it wouldn’t hurt to brighten up your home before the gloomy rainy season starts. You would need to take advantage of the summer’s heat if you want your paint to dry quickly.

Check for electrical items that need repair and updating. You might have to rewire specific systems in your home electrical systems, which might be dangerous during a storm. It is best to prepare early on for such concerns.

Aside from repairs, summer is also an excellent time to prepare an emergency kit for natural disasters.

Storm Emergency Kit

Your basic emergency supply kit should be enough for all members of the household. This would have to include a gallon of water per person each day for at least three days. You will be using this for drinking and sanitation purposes.

Keep three days’ worth of non-perishable food. Since you never know what could happen in an emergency, it’s best to be prepared. In natural disasters, emergency response may be slow, so it is best to be ready for whatever happens.

A strong flashlight with extra batteries should also be in your basic emergency supply kit. Since emergency response may be slow, you will need this when night arrives, and no one has come to rescue yet. During storms, electricity may not be available, so you will need a strong light source to navigate in your area.

Keep a whistle (or several) in your emergency kit. When signaling for help, merely shouting at rescuers may not be enough. A strong whistle can potentially catch their attention, especially during nights of rescue.

There are plenty more you need to prepare in a basic emergency supply kit. Make sure you have these ready months before the storm season so that you will always be ready in an emergency.

Evacuation Plan

Aside from your home repairs and your basic emergency supply kit, another thing you need to prepare for is your family’s evacuation plan. In whatever state of emergency, there is a chance that your family may not all be together at home. It is best to practice a safe evacuation plan for all household members in case an emergency arises. This is to make sure that each household member can be alert during emergencies and reach a safe space even without the head of the household present.

Summer is the ideal time for most home repairs as doing so prevents repair interruption with rain. Despite this, during any month of the year, it is best to practice safety precautions at all times. Prepare your basic emergency supply kit beforehand so you and your family will only have to think about keeping yourselves warm and safe. In any case, your family’s safety should always be the priority.

Home Remedies for Energy: 5 Ways to Boost Productivity and Mood

Source

Being in a mental rut can harm our health, productivity, and mood. Constantly bombarding ourselves with tasks, either through procrastination or just straight-up overworking ourselves, can give way to heightened levels of stress and anxiety. So, let’s look at five ways to help boost our productivity and mood.

1. Sleep good, work better.

Sleeping is a fantastic, and probably the easiest, home remedy to boost energy. Our mind and body are interconnected, so keeping one healthy ensures the other will do the same. A good start is maximizing sleep quality. Sticking to a structured sleep routine that provides our body with at least 8 hours of sleep will ensure consistent energy levels during the day. But for this to work, you must stick to a specific bedtime and wake-up time. Inconsistent sleep patterns are almost as harmful to the body as little to no sleep.

2. A healthy body is an optimized brain

As mentioned above, our body and brain are interconnected. We have talked about resting our bodies, but what about fueling them? Well, certain foods that are high in vitamin B12—one of the main vitamins known for energy enhancement—can help boost energy levels, giving you the fuel needed to get through the day. Fish, meat, poultry, and other dairy products are high in B12. Incorporating this vitamin into your diet can help power both your mind and body, helping you take on whatever life throws at you.

3. Stop workin’, start walkin’?

We know this may seem counterintuitive, but taking a step back from a task or assignment can actually help you get it done quicker! Exercise is not only crucial for the body; it also promotes mental well-being. And exercise doesn’t necessarily mean maxing your deadlift between paragraphs. It can be something as simple as going for a walk around the block. Just getting your body moving helps relieve stress, which can significantly inhibit productivity. Before you even start your work, early morning workouts have been said to get your mind and body prepared for the day.

4. Put down the phone

Social media, texting, and phone calls ranked as the 4th biggest workplace distractions only behind bathroom breaks and talking with coworkers. We’ve all been there: a text message alert or a Twitter notification goes off, and you are instantly entranced into the endless rabbit hole that is your cell phone. There are a bunch of simple ways to prevent this from happening. For starters, keep your phone and work separate. This can go as far as keeping it in a different room, whatever prevents you from distracting yourself. Other methods, such as putting your phone on “Do Not Disturb” and “Airplane Mode,” can immensely cut down distractions without feeling disconnected.

5. Organize your workspace

For many, a cluttered workspace = a cluttered mind. Having a clean workspace can work as a productivity “placebo.” You can trick yourself into working harder when your surroundings are organized. Everyone has their own gauge on what is considered to be “clean,” so do whatever you think is necessary. If it means just clearing off your desk, then go for it. And if “clean” means sanitizing all of your work materials, then do that. Just make sure not to overdo it. There is a fine line between organizing your workspace and plainly pushing off work. Find that balance. Find that productivity.

Conclusion

Feeling run down can have a lasting impact on our short term productivity, leaving us feeling defeated and mentally exhausted. But simple changes to the way we carry on through the day can help boost productivity and increase energy levels. Simple changes to our sleeping patterns and diet are two vital ways we can achieve this added boost in energy. Other changes such as exercise and work habits can help maximize productivity without stretching ourselves too far. These tips do not have to be followed verbatim, but should act as a guide in helping you navigate what best fits your lifestyle.

Detox

To cleanse our bodies from long holidays or bad habits, a nutritious, mental, or parasite detox will help restore your body to better health. A detox gives the body and its vital organs a chance to recover and repair.

Detoxes eliminate bad bacteria and from our bodies, whilst also improving mental clarity. They have benefits for the mind and the body, which are both equally important when it comes to your wellbeing. Introduce a detox into your routine every so often if you feel stressed or fatigued, mentally or physically, to recuperate and restore your health.

Down-Time

A busy lifestyle can lead to a build up of stress, which we all need to let go of. Ensuring your integrate down-time to your weekly routine is useful for de-stressing the mind and the body.

Try to introduce relaxing hobbies or moments at the end of a busy day. This could include yoga, meditation, reading, or anything you enjoy. Relaxation promotes physical and mental benefits, such as improving mood, restoring energy, and inhibiting the risk of mental or physical conditions.

Nutrition

What we feed ourselves has a huge impact on our physical and mental wellbeing. Consuming a balanced diet of protein, fats, fiber, and carbohydrates, is enough to maintain good health. Nutritious foods can offer many benefits. For example, fatty fish contains omega-3’s which can reduce inflammation and oatmeal contains numerous vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are essential for protecting your body against disease and illness.

Exercise

Exercise does not have to be strict or rigorous to be satisfactory. If intense classes or running is not for you, that’s fine. Focus on fun hobbies that you enjoy such as long walks, badminton, or yoga and integrate that into your weekly routine to energize the body and maintain physical fitness.

A healthy and balanced lifestyle should involve around three days of exercise per week. Whether that be a long walk or a quick yoga session, movement is enough to keep your mind and your physical being healthy.

In summary, these four simple steps can allow you to improve your health and are all easy to follow so that you can easily invest more time into your wellbeing. Remember that you should focus on promoting your health by mentally and physically. A good balance of exercise, nutritious food, and mindful activities can help both aspects simultaneously.

The 4 Most Important Elements of a Sustainable Home Build

Photo by João Jesus from Pexels

As environmental concerns and discussions about sustainability become more widespread, many prospective homeowners are looking for ways to make their build more eco-friendly. With new, innovative technologies coming out all the time and lots of strong opinions on which eco-friendly approaches are best, designing a sustainable home can feel like an overwhelming task.

If you’ve been dreaming about building a sustainable home but aren’t sure where to start, take a look at the four factors that will have the biggest effect on reducing your home’s footprint and enable you to live a sustainable lifestyle.

Use utility-efficient designs and supplies

All sustainable home builds should focus on reducing water, heat, and electrical usage. Some of the most popular heating options today include geothermal heating, solar panels, masonry heat systems, and hydronic heat systems.

The best place to begin is to be aware of any issues with your current location. Any plumber can look at the area and see if there are major issues with sewer lines, or if your location is not conducive to efficient sewage. If you build a property on a faulty mainline, the quality of water you use could be compromised.

To conserve water, collect rainwater and recycle your greywater. If you have lots of outdoor space, consider putting in an irrigation system in place of underground sprinklers. If you have the space and a license, well drillers can provide you with your own source of clean, safe drinking water, saving you from purchasing plastic water bottles.

Keep in mind that although some of these features have high upfront costs, many will save you money in the long run and increase the value of your home.

Look for eco-friendly materials

When deciding on the materials for your build, there are three main considerations to keep in mind:

  • Is the material easily renewable?
  • Can they be locally sourced?
  • Are they free of contaminants and harmful chemicals?

Bamboo and wool are popular materials, as they meet the first and third criteria. Having an extensive understanding of all potential building materials is just one of many things you should know before you self-build. Even if you’ve hired a builder to do the work for you, you shouldn’t expect to take a back seat in the project. Make sure you have a firm idea about what materials you want and be ready to negotiate this with your builder. Consider every element of your home. For roofing, ask for recommendations from home remodeling contractor, Action Builders.

Less is more

Energy-efficient design or not, larger eco-friendly homes will always use more energy than smaller eco-friendly homes. How much space do you truly need to live comfortably? Focus more on building a functional, comfortable space than your dream eco-mansion.

There are lessons to be learned here from tiny house architects. While you shouldn’t feel pressured to live in a space that small, their designs are worth taking a look at to get some ideas on how you can maximize the space you have. Less space means less waste.

Plant a permaculture-inspired garden

Living sustainably is all about seeking connection and mutual benefit with the natural environment around you. Your sustainable home should therefore not shut out the outdoors, but seamlessly integrate into it.

Your garden is just as important as the house itself. Design your garden using permaculture principles, which take an approach to agriculture that mimics and supports natural processes. Cultivate your own fruits and vegetables to your heart’s content while simultaneously giving back to the environment.

That being said, sticking exclusively to permaculture principles exclusively isn’t for everyone. To reduce your reliance on the supermarket and eat locally, factor space for a polytunnel into your build to grow produce that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to.

The Future Of The Cars On Our Roads

Photo: Unsplash

We have all heard about autonomous cars making a comeback this decade. They will be cars that drive themselves, nobody at the wheel and available for us whenever we need them. That is the ideal. We also know that a lot of cars are going to become electric this decade, as a way to save the planet’s resources and use elements that aren’t so damaging. So are electric cars the future?

Beyond the subjective questions – like what needs to happen for each respondent to decide for themselves to switch to using an electric vehicle, the respondents in a recent survey were asked about their clearly unscientific assessments about the rate of technology penetration in the world. On average, car owners believe that they themselves will consider purchasing an electric car in three years, towards 2024, but they believe (on average) that only in 2030 will the car industry cross the turning point and most new cars sold in the world will be electric. Of course the average, by its very nature, misses the differences between all the countries surveyed, and in some countries governments act faster than in others, as well as in a more determined and effective manner. Car owners in India, for example, will consider buying an electric car as early as 2022, that is, in a little over a year, while the Chinese – who are actually leading the revolution, answered that they believe it will only happen a year later.

Charging infrastructure: The egg and chicken problem

Many of the respondents in a recent study actually rated the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles as the most important critical challenge for them. Seventy percent of respondents believe that the turning point for an electric vehicle will exist only after their national charging infrastructure is available to them at least as much as existing gas stations. However, by 2030, will this not be a problem anymore? It is rather ambitious but electric cars do seem to have quite a few benefits; one of which they claim is financial.

Selection of vehicles: Wanting to diversify

A selection of electric vehicle models is indeed a less important barrier for most, but precisely in terms of fleet managers this is currently perceived as the second most important factor on the way to the turning point. In total, more than half of the respondents indicated that they would consider switching to an electric vehicle only when they found a model equivalent to their favorite vehicle. They can still look at changing their tyres and painting their exteriors. Platinum Wheel Repairs are important to ensure the safety of any car.

One of the important challenges facing anyone today is to help customers understand that most barriers that are perceived by them as separating them from switching to an electric vehicle are likely to be removed much earlier than they think. An electric car on its own is certainly a big purchase but it is a very valuable investment that will serve you well into the coming decade.

Be Smart about Your next Car Purchase with this Ultimate Guide

New cars in this day and age tend to have much better safety features and they also come with way more tech gizmos as well.  That being said, a lot of people make mistakes when they buy a new car. They go into too much debt and they also struggle to come out of the other side better off. If you want to find out more then carry on reading.

Get Preapproved

The best advice you can get is to get a preapproved loan before you go to the dealership. If you have a preapproved loan from your bank or your credit union then this will help you out far more than you realise. You may even find that you are able to save money on the deal you are getting from your dealer and that you are able to pay down your car faster too. Another bonus of doing this is that the salesperson won’t be able to talk you into taking out extra features on the car you have chosen because your loan will be pre-approved and you won’t be able to go over this amount. If you aren’t sure if you need a new car then remember that you can easily source diesel truck parts online if you need to get your existing car repaired.

Source: Pexels (CC0 License)

Keep it Simple

If you are purchasing a car at a dealership then you have to make sure that you focus on a single thing at a time. Don’t tell the salesperson too much, remember that you’re playing a game. If you’re playing poker, you don’t show everyone that you have a pair of queens, do you? At the dealership, you need to start out with the price of the vehicle you plan to buy.  The dealership will want to know if you plan on trading in your existing car. If you can, don’t tell them this. You are going up against pros so the more you can keep things in your favour, the better. You need to negotiate the best deal possible and then offer to trade in your car. If you do this, then you may find that you are able to come out with even more money knocked off your purchase, so keep that in mind.

Don’t Buy Add-Ons

If you have bought a car then you will probably know how this works. You have probably been at the dealership for a number of hours and you’re probably tired by the end of it. Your dealer will probably offer you a ton of extras at the end, whether it is an extended warranty, paint protection plan, tyre protection plan or even gap insurance. Dealers tend to make a small fortune on this kind of stuff, and usually it will be very overpriced. Most people have no idea how to get a fair price here, so you need to say no to all of it. If you do, then you will probably come to the conclusion you don’t need it anyway.

Beware of Seven Year Car Loans

A third of loans that are given out tend to be over 7 years. This is a very dangerous trend because you will be paying way more interest and you may also find that it is harder to pay everything down.

Magnesium Infusions: Uses, Underrated Benefits, and More

Magnesium Infusions: Uses, Underrated Benefits, and More

Source

Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body. It is vital to optimizing brain and body health and is involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions. Every cell in the body needs magnesium to function properly. It is responsible for energy creation, protein formation, gene maintenance, muscle movements, and nervous system regulation.

Why Magnesium infusions?

Unfortunately, studies from the National Library of Medicine suggest that roughly 50% of people in the United States and European countries get less than the recommended daily amount of magnesium, even if they have a healthy diet. Doctors propose incorporating magnesium supplements into your diet, but studies suggest that its oral bioavailability is far less effective than infusions. To read more about the comparisons between oral bioavailability vs. injection bioavailability, click here.

Common Uses of Magnesium infusions

Magnesium injections have many far-reaching uses, both common and uncommon. Mainly, magnesium injections are used to treat hypomagnesemia: low levels of magnesium in your blood. Deficiency symptoms include numbness, tingling, chronic fatigue, muscle spasticity, high blood pressure, and abnormal heart rhythms. Magnesium deficiency can become serious if left untreated. Magnesium can also help treat acute asthma by improving peak expiratory flow rate: a person’s ability to exhale efficiently.

Uncommon Uses of Magnesium & Magnesium Infusions

Magnesium infusions can also help resolve less severe conditions. Therapeutic uses of magnesium help treat chronic migraines, anxiety, and stress. The National Library of Medicine ran a study monitoring the effects of magnesium on mild to moderate anxiety. Their findings concluded: “The effects of Mg on clinical affective disorders and experimental studies of anxiety in animal models provide a clear rationale to propose that Mg supplementation will have a beneficial effect on mild/moderate anxiety.”

How Can I Incorporate Magnesium into My Routine?

Look into some Magnesium-rich foods and drinks.

There are a plethora of ways to incorporate more magnesium into your diet. The easiest way is by eating foods rich in the mineral. Some foods high in magnesium include:

  • Avocados
  • Nuts
  • Leafy greens
  • Tofu
  • Whole grains

This is just a short excerpt; check out this list to read more about what foods are rich in magnesium.

Additionally, there are some drinks out there that are rich in magnesium. Most of these are powdered additives but are blended into drinks to make the perfect supplement. Some drink powders include:

Utilize Magnesium Supplements

Supplementing magnesium is also a super easy and effective way to increase your magnesium levels. The ideal dosage of magnesium varies by age. Females 14-18 years old should consume 360 mg/day, women 19-30 years of age should consume 310 mg/day, and females over 31 should consume 320 mg/day of magnesium. For males aged 14-18, the daily dosage is 410 mg/day, the dosage for men aged 19-30 is 400 mg/day, and for men 31 years and older, the dosage is set to 420 mg/day.

Consider Magnesium IV Therapy

Though it is the most expensive method of increasing magnesium in the body, magnesium IV therapy is a long term way to help increase levels. Intravenous magnesium treatment is more useful for those deficient in the mineral. It effectively helps treat eclampsia and preeclampsia, arrhythmia, severe asthma, and migraine.

Conclusion

Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body. It is responsible for over 400 metabolic reactions, including energy creation, protein formation, gene maintenance, muscle movements, and nervous system regulation. Almost half of the people in the United States and European countries are magnesium deficient. As a result, magnesium infusions are becoming more and more common.

Magnesium infusions are mainly used to treat magnesium deficiency and the symptoms that accompany it. It also helps resolve chronic conditions such as acute asthma. Some less severe conditions that can be treated with magnesium include migraines, stress, and anxiety.

Oral supplementation is a great and easy way to obtain more magnesium, but IV therapy is a much more effective treatment method. You can also get magnesium from foods and drink powders as well. Make sure to always consult your doctor before considering magnesium injections or magnesium infusions. This article was originally published at iveeapp.com.
