If you are in the business of offering holiday rentals, you want to make sure it’s as successful as possible. After all, if it is a success you will soon get more recommendations through word of mouth and have more business rolling in. The more customers you have, the more money you will make – simple! But how do you make sure you give guests an experience that will have them coming back again, or recommending it to their friends and family? If you’re looking for some tips, we’ve put together some advice on how to run a successful holiday rental.

Always community quickly and politely

When you run a business such as a holiday let, you want to be available to get in touch with your clients when they need. While you don’t need to be at their beck and call twenty four hours a day, try to always respond within 48 hours. When they are actually staying in your property, you will need to be able to get in touch with them sooner just in case they need something urgent. Be sure to always message in good time and be polite and friendly.

Ensure you have all the necessary facilities

It’s important to have the necessary facilities available to keep your guests as relaxed and comfortable as possible. You could look into commercial hvac services in order to supply air con which is super important particularly if the weather is hot! As well as this, ensure you have basic things such as a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities as well as washing facilities too. If they request something before they come, try to accommodate this (within reason) as much as you can. It can be a good idea to add items such as washing up liquid and washing tablets so they can keep the place clean too – this makes it much easier both for you and them!

Go the extra mile where possible

Something that will make your guests remember you and ensure the rental is a success is if you go the extra mile. You could provide a welcome basket for your guests that includes things such as milk, coffee and snacks. This would be particularly appreciated if guests are arriving late at night and might be hungry and thirsty. You could also write them a welcome note telling them things about the property and what they can also find in the area. You could leave out recommendations of local restaurants and things to do as well as things for them to do when they are there.
These are just a few simple tips that should help you to run a successful holiday rental. No matter if you run one rental or multiple ones, these tips should help you to have success.
