Ways To Achieve More in Life

Achieving in life means different things to different people. However, one thing remains present in all these things – if you want to achieve something, it takes time and dedication. The first thing you have to do is cultivate the right mindset. It does not matter who you are or what position you are currently in, anyone and everyone can focus on achieving and being successful. All it takes is to be serious about the pursuit and you can do whatever you want (within reason).

Image from Pixabay

What are your Strengths?

If you want to achieve, then you need to discover what your strengths are. Sit down and contemplate what you are good at, what comes naturally for you, and what you like. Once you know this, you can begin to focus energy in the right direction.

Be Committed

No matter what you plan on doing, it will help if you are 100% committed. It is only through total dedication and commitment that we can truly succeed. Perhaps you have some personal issue, and you want to get better. This is where something like a drug rehab center will be very effective. Commitment plus extra help will have you achieve the end result.

Create Goals

Perhaps you have an overarching goal to become a doctor. It may seem very far away from you at the moment. Inserted of creating one biog goal, create a lot of smaller goals that help you get to where you are going. For example, going back to school and finishing that biology qualification so you can go on to university to study to become a doctor. Every big goal has many smaller goals to get to the endpoint. Besides, smaller goals help you develop a plan of action. A huge goal is difficult to visualize, but if you can see that path to get there, it is far easier to begin seeing that future as a real possibility.

Do Not Be Afraid to Fail

If you are afraid you will not succeed, then you will end up doing nothing. Every failure means that you grow and develop a wider breadth of knowledge. No matter what your pursuit, failure to achieve the exact thing you want, should be seen as an achievement in its own right. By failing, you have tried, and you can go on with more knowledge.

Take Action

Do not just talk big, actually go out and take action. Go outside your comfort zone, speak to speak, create things. If you can think of a better way of doing something, do it. Actions speak so much louder than words, so do something different. There is never a right time to do anything, so start taking action and be proactive today.

Never Stop Learning

The world is such a huge place, and no one knows it all, no matter how much they pretend to do. If you want to achieve, you should read as much as you can, listen to experts and never close your mind to a new idea.

Changing the Person Staring Back at You: 4 Methods To Project a Different Image

Pexels – CC0 License

The whole physical image we hold of ourselves is an insight into our weaknesses as people. We hold self-image in high regard, and it gives us a sense of our personality and is a key to how we understand life. So if we want to change our image and project something different outwards, we need to focus on a number of key practices to ensure that we are doing it right. What are these?

See the Person in the Flesh

If you want to be someone who is picture-perfect, it is not enough to imagine ourselves as that person, but we’ve got to stare at this person in the mirror and see them in the flesh. Half of the issue is that we all have little hang-ups about ourselves. If we have issues with our teeth, the great thing is that these things are easily fixed. Many dental services can help align those teeth, but it is about fooling our brain into recognizing that the person that’s in the mirror is a better version of ourselves. It is a major cliche, but it is about dressing for the job that you want. The same thing applies to being the person that you want.

Reframe Self-Critical Thoughts

When we are trying to project a different image, we have to remember that we need to work from the inside out. If we have self-critical and judgmental thoughts, we’ve got to reframe these into something that’s more helpful and healthier. There are things that we can do to change, such as using non-judgemental reflection, becoming more aware of our inner critic, or training certain thoughts and behaviors, such as self-compassion.

Focus on the Things You Love About Yourself

If you have a negative frame of mind, you can benefit from lifting things that you really like about yourself. Many people want to change their self-image because they don’t like who they are. In order to break through, you need to make a list and take an inventory of your best qualities. Do this before you go to sleep because sleep is when our brain processes a lot of our thoughts. It is recommended that if you want to learn something new, you do it before you go to sleep or have a major rest where you aren’t using your brain. It is at this point where your brain will actually play and replay things that you’ve just fed it. Write down the things that you love about yourself, and occasionally glance at these things when you wake up in the morning and remember that you are worth it.

Rest and Rejuvenate

Finally, it is so important for your vitality to rest. Because if you are not rested, you are not giving yourself the foundation to thrive. Not sleeping properly can cause you to be irritable, and could be overly critical of yourself. You need to prioritize sleep above everything else because this will be the foundation that you can build everything else upon.

How To Become Less Judgemental – And Why It Will Change Your Life

As human beings in the twenty-first century, we walk around judging others constantly. Most of us don’t even realise we are doing it – it’s a mindset that we learn as children and grow up with throughout our lives. Although there is some natural element to judging others and seeing them as competition, in today’s society, judging others serves nobody at all.

In today’s post, you will learn three ways to stop being judgmental, and find out exactly why judgement is so poisonous in today’s society.

How judgement is the enemy of progress…

Every person on Earth is unique, yet we quickly form categories that society reinforces. This is a simple yet powerful truth: the more you fall into your society-formed categorization, the more alienated you feel by others outside of your “category”. These categories can be class-based, race-based, gender-based and even industry-based. We allow other people’s judgement to define us, and therefore we give the same energy back into the world.

However, in recent years, a shift has begun to happen. The younger generations are moving away from harmful judgements and are slowly beginning to reform the way they see others. Practicing this radical non-judgement is not everybody’s cup of tea, but it certainly aids progress. The more we see others for who they are, the less likely we are to feel judged or alienated by the world, too.

3 ways you can stop judging others

Now, let’s get to the practical side of things. How do you stop being judgemental when it’s ingrained so deeply?

Let’s take a look at three practical steps you can take towards non-judgement.

  1. Walk a mile in their shoes.

If you find yourself casting judgement over a person before you truly know them, you need to practice empathy. It’s easy to be critical of other people’s decisions or ways of life, but have you ever walked a mile in their shoes? Probably not.

Of course, it’s not always possible to actually have the same experiences as somebody else. But what you can do is be open, listen, and learn about how they see the world in comparison to you. You may not always agree, but simply by being open to the possibility of changing your mind, you are practicing radical empathy that can be life changing.

  1. Befriend people from all walks of life.

If you close your inner circle off to anyone who isn’t exactly like you, your mind will likely stay closed, too. In order to be less judgemental in general, it is a good idea to befriend people from different backgrounds, religions, sexualities, and political viewpoints.

  1. Realize that your life experience isn’t universal.

Your experience of the world is just a tiny sliver of what’s out there. Your opinions, therefore, are formed based on your minute experience of the world.

Let’s use an easy example: drugs! You might have grown up thinking that all drugs were evil and bad, until you met somebody with chronic pain who used marijuana to soothe their suffering. Before you know, you’ll be buying them a joint case and even trying it out if you’re brave enough! This is just one example of so many things you could change your mind about in the future.

Overall, it’s time to put away our shallow judgements of others and be more open!

How to Take Care of Your Mental Health

If you are struggling with mental health, it can be difficult to know where to start. It is important that you take care of your mental health in the same way you would care for your physical health. You may need some help from a therapist or counselor, but there are many things that you can do on your own as well! In this blog post, I will talk about how to take care of your mental health so you’ll feel your best and be able to tackle every day head-on!

via Pexels

#1 Practice self-care daily

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health, so it’s time to take care of both. Just as you would wash your body and eat healthy food if you were sick with a cold or the flu, practicing self-care will help heal your mind when things get tough. Make sure that you are exercising regularly, eating well (yes, even comfort foods), getting enough sleep every night, and taking time off from work/school/social activities to rest and recover when necessary. Also, meditate for at least 15 minutes a day to clear your head and find balance within yourself after taking your daily dose of Kratom from Kingdom Kratom to give you that extra boost!

These small actions can have big results on how we feel! Also, make sure to make time for fun activities and hobbies that you enjoy. You deserve happiness, so find it! It’s best to focus on yourself and what makes YOU feel good – no one needs added stress from worrying about someone else too! Keeping up with appearances can become exhausting if you don’t remember how hard other people may be working just as much as you, though they might never show it on social media.

#2 Block out negativity

This is one of the hardest things to do because there’s so much negativity in today’s world, but it can have a major impact on your mental health. To begin with, try not to read articles or watch news feeds that will trigger negative thoughts within you. When you let yourself get too involved in other people’s problems and drama, it can cause added stress

If someone brings something up around you that may be triggering, tell them gently how you feel about hearing their story and ask if they mind changing the subject – chances are they didn’t realize what they were doing until just now! You also don’t need anyone else bringing down your own mood when life gets tough for whatever reason. Practice self-love every day and only surround yourself with people who lift you up, not push you down!

#3 Speak when you need help

There’s no shame in asking for help, and it can be the best decision you ever make! If your mental health is causing problems with work/school/social activities or anything else that may seem important to you, speak up. It will benefit everyone involved if you are comfortable enough to admit when you need assistance. Remembering this can save a lot of time and energy down the road because handling things on your own only makes situations worse, especially if there is already an issue going on.

Taking a break from your work and spending time with your family is important. It’s essential actually. You need to know when to let go of your work for the day so you can spend that time caring care for your self like your physical health, mental health, and checking in on the wellbeing of your loved ones.

Meditate

Mediation is a very popular way to process information and to allow the troubles to melt away. Try and take some time each day that you can do a bit of meditating. Even if you have a busy schedule, it only takes a few minutes to do. There are plenty of ways that meditation can be effective for beginners.  This will help you in feeling more relaxed and unwind from all the pressure that work gives off.

Get away from your workspace

This is especially true if your workspace is at home such as at a desk or in an office. Ideally, you spend time away from that area on your off days and breaks as this is only going to make you feel drained just from looking at it. Try going out of town for the weekend on a trip. This gives you time to recuperate from your long week at work and it allows you the chance to get a breath of fresh air.  Don’t worry, you can still maintain growth for your business while you’re traveling around.

Look into activities that re-energizes you

Exercise is one of the best ways to make yourself physically feel better while also releases the frustration and tension that work can cause. There are a variety of exercises and sports you can do such as basketball, cycling, boxing, weight lifting, or even just standard workouts at the gym. Pickleball, which has gained popularity, is another sport worth checking out. A sporting goods store will likely carry pickleball best paddles for you to choose from.

Go out into nature

Nature has such a great impact on the human mind. It makes you feel more connected with your surroundings, but it also helps in making you feel free. Free from your worries, troubles, and everything that causes you to stress for the time being. You can go out on a hike in a secluded area, or even just take a stroll in your local park in order to feel the rejuvenating effects that nature has.  Also, being out in nature will give you a clear mind. This gives you the chance to thoroughly think about things you’ve been wanting to achieve such as getting business visibility or figuring out how to reach certain goals.

Surefire Ways to Live a Long and Happy Life

No matter how positive your aura is, there are times you may feel overwhelmed and beaten down by life. In some instances, it may feel like nothing can cheer you up. However, as human beings, we live life with grit, and no matter what curveballs life throws at us, we overcome it and move forward. In this article, we show you how you can improve the quality of your life by giving you tips to live long and stay happy.

Do the Things You Love

While this may sound like a cliche statement, doing the things you love is one of the pieces of advice that stand the test of time. Whether you love your career, spending time with friends, or a hobby, immersing yourself in it allows you to live a happy and fulfilling life. Allow yourself to enjoy the process without worrying about outcomes, as worry only reduces the quality of an experience.

Use Your Phone Well

The world is quickly going digital, and you can see it in how people spend their time. Today, the average adult spends approximately four hours a day on their phone.

However, your smartphone can serve your mission towards a long and healthy life. If you use your phone well, you can achieve a happy, healthy life. Your phone can help you stick to a schedule, plan and execute your diet, plan healthy meals and learn new recipes, and learn about exercise as you keep track of your progress.

Learn and Prioritize Self-care

With the current state of affairs, it is possible to get immersed in day-to-day activities and forget that we should take care of some of our personal needs. However, to live a long and healthy life, you need to acknowledge that your body allows you to experience the world, and you need to give back to it. Instead of allowing your body to stay tired and sluggish, you should prioritize self-care. Eat a healthy diet, drink water and exercise, read books and do the things that excite your body and soul. Despite a busy schedule, you should make time for your body.

Make Positive Changes

It is a universal law that we attract what we focus on. But, unfortunately, we lend most of our energy to negative thinking patterns and habits. To start attracting better things into your reality, you need to make some changes in your life.

Some of the adjustments you can make include spending time with those who matter to you, quitting bad habits such as smoking, drinking, eating junk food, and incorporating exercise into your daily routine. You can also pick up a new hobby or rekindle your love for old hobbies and see how much energy and positivity you can pump into your day.

Bottom Line

Life can get busy and tedious. However, you can incorporate the above tips into your life and make some positive changes. Remember, your body allows you to experience everything around you. Therefore, it is only fair that you make time to adjust and enjoy life as it comes.

Common Workplace Stressors And How To Manage Them

Common Workplace Stressors And How To Manage Them

As an adult, you will spend a large proportion of your life engaging in work so it may not come as a surprise that you will experience some form of workplace stress from time to time. While workplace stressors may not be uncommon they are not pleasant and can have grave consequences for your physical and mental health. Here are some typical workplace stressors and what you can do to manage them.

Photocredit; Energypic from Pexels

Workload

One of the biggest culprits is a heavy workload. Expecting too much from employers is a sure-fire way to trigger workplace stress. If you find yourself victim to an unmanageable workload consider a few of the following;

  1. Make a priority list.
Jot down your to-do list in order of priority. Starting at the top, work your way through your list task by task. Ensuring the most important tasks are not overlooked and dealt with first will help ease the mental load.
  2. Outsource.
Where you can outsource tasks that you do not need to complete yourself. Can you hand over a project to a colleague? Or perhaps you are your own boss trying to do it all yourself. Consider using software such as Sage to take the load off of your accounting system or deferring to experts such as Securelogic IT provider to take on your IT management. Take a look at what is on your to-do list and work out if you are or need to be responsible for all of it.
  3. Communicate.
If your workload is causing you stress be sure to inform your superiors or the team around you. It is not a weakness or anything to be shamed off. They may well be feeling the pressures too and just talking about it can help. Better yet, they may be able to offer up some practical solutions to alleviate your stress. Communication is key.

Poor working relationships

Your relationships whether at home or in the office can have a huge impact on your mental health and wellbeing. Here are some ways to help alleviate the stressors of poor working relationships.

  1. Find common ground.
You may be working closely with someone you don’t like and while that can be hard to ignore, in the adult world, unfortunately there are times where you have to get on with it as best you can. Try to find some common ground or shared interests you can bond over or have positive conversations about to detract from the negatives of your relationship.
  2. Work on controlling your emotions.
If you find yourself getting worked up by the actions of another, while this is not to suggest it is your fault, consider working on how you deal with and react in certain situations. It may well be the other person is being unreasonable but if you can learn to deal with it in a calm manor that doesn’t result in a negative atmosphere it will improve your working life envciroment.

Reduce contact time.
If you can’t find sufficient common ground and you are finding it increasingly difficult to handle yourself in a cool and collective way around a certain person then take the steps you can to avoid contact time with that person, even if you have to work closely. Try to keep your break times separate, so you get some space. Can you communicate via email or messaging services? Can you divide up tasks so you can work independently? Do what you can to keep your contact time to a minimum and your stress levels low.

Can You Stage Your Home For Your Brain?

Can You Stage Your Home For Your Brain?

Most people understand the importance of adjusting their lifestyles to support the brain. Ultimately, the brain is an essential organ that reacts to our emotions, energy levels, and nutrition. A healthy brain requires a healthy lifestyle. The right diet can significantly improve your cognitive functions and focus. Indeed, brain food, such as walnuts, citrus fruits, and fatty fish, can help strengthen neural pathways.

Exercise, both mental and physical, is indispensable. Whether you choose to solve puzzles or go out for a jog, you are constantly training your brain. Mental exercises train your cognitive abilities. But physical activity ensures your brain receives plenty of oxygen and nutrients.

Finally, plenty of sleep and relaxation can help reduce pressure and maintain your mental productivity. A stressed-out or tired brain thinks slowly and is prone to mistakes.

But there’s more you can do to help your brain. Have you ever considered staging your home decor to enhance your cognitive functions? Here’s how it could work.

Unsplash – CC0 License

Maximize natural light exposure strategically

Do you sometimes find yourself lying on the bed, unable to sleep after you’ve been scrolling through your social media feed? Using a screen device exposes you to blue light, which is the same wavelength as the sunlight. Whether you are watching TV, catching up with your emails, or listening to your favorite goodnight lullaby on Spotify, blue light exposure tells your brain it is daytime. As a consequence, your brain prevents the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone.

But did you know that the reverse phenomenon can also affect your brain? If you are not exposed to enough natural light, your brain can struggle to prepare for daytime activities. Do you need direct sun exposure to feel mentally energized? The answer is no. Your brain feeds on indirect cues too, such as the window in your home office. Make sure you don’t obstruct natural light passage with furniture or obstacles. Additionally, it can be beneficial to consider window renewal by Andersen Windows & Doors to upgrade damaged frames and glass panes. Old windows can obstruct light in many ways!

The brain needs plenty of oxygen

While we’re on the subject of windows, here’s a simple tip for you: Open your windows once a day. For a start, renewing your indoor air will improve your air conditioning system. But, more importantly, the process helps regulate air quality and oxygenation inside your home. Indoor air quality is often as bad or even worse than outdoor. Unfortunately, we don’t see particles and toxins in the air. Indoor pollution is one of the most important health concerns at home. From respiratory discomfort to irritation, bad air quality has a long list of consequences. But it can also affect your mental concentration, creating unpleasant brain fog. You help clear indoor pollution and bring more oxygen into your home when you open your window daily, supporting brain functions.

Remove distractions that can affect concentration

Your brain constantly picks a variety of signals from your environment. While it can be hard to keep the world at bay while you’re working, you can target some of the most disruptive signals. Background noises can be frustrating, especially if you live in a busy town. Traffic sounds can affect your focus. But it may not be easy to wear noise-canceling headphones all day, as they can make you feel completely cut out from the external world. If you prefer some lighter level of noise management, you can find simple solutions such as noise-stopping panels to the inside of your wall. For tenants who can’t change their interior, a line of houseplants along the window can also act as a noise-reducing element.

Another surprisingly overlooked factor is your office decor. Colors can significantly affect your focus and concentration. Blue tones, for instance, support mental focus. On the other hand, red and orange colors inject a ton of energy, making you feel restless at a desk.

Add structure to your decor

Your thinking process requires structure. Therefore, it makes sense that working in a clear and decluttered place can assist the thought patterns. On the other hand, surrounded by clutter, your brain is likely to feel pressured and stressed out.

Create a sense of reward for your mind

Last but not least, thinking spaces should engage positive feelings. Building a pleasant place with meaningful and personal decorative accents encourages your brain to produce happy and feel-good hormones. These help keep stress at bay, creating a rewarding environment for productivity. While creating a home office that includes only professional and practical elements can be tempting, little personal touches can boost your mood. A happy brain is energized, makes connections quickly, and keeps you focused.

Is your home a brain-positive environment? Most of us fail to consider how our brain reacts to our surroundings. From natural light to mood-boosting decor, the brain responds to multiple stimuli every day. The better you understand how to create a brain-focused home, the more productive you’ll become.

The Dichotomy Of Phone & Relaxation

The Dichotomy Of Phone & Relaxation

Is a phone an object of relaxation or a stressful item that keeps you occupied? Answers differ greatly about the uses of mobile phones. It’s understandable. Everyone is different, and therefore, there is more than one way to manage your interactions with your phone. This naturally feeds to the ever-growing dichotomy about smartphones. One part of the population villainies phones for the adverse impact they have on human beings. Others praise phones for helping them cope with difficult situations and finding inner peace. Which statement is correct? The answer is both. Your attitude entirely depends on your personality and relationship with technology.

Unsplash – CC0 License

They hinder relaxation

Phones are a pain. You find them practical at times, but they cause a high amount of stress more often than not. Why is it so?

Phone management is stressful

Steve Jobs said it best when he described the first iPhone as a mini-computer that fits in your pocket. The label phone is misleading. Your smartphone is a fully functional computer. And unless you’re an IT geek, computers can be tricky to manage. Between upgrades gone wrong and running out of storage space, owning a phone can be a source of stress and anxiety. There are some helpful tutorials and applications around to guide you through some of the processes, such as this handy guide on the best cleaner apps for iPhone so you can reclaim your memory space without losing vital data. These tips can provide some sense of support and peace when using your smartphone. However, they don’t prevent some of the most common stress triggers with mobile phones:

  • Running out of battery or receiving a low battery warning when you don’t have any charging option available
  • Losing data or application through upgrade mishaps
  • Discovering that some features have inexplicably stopped working

It means you are cut from the real world

Here’s an interesting fact for you. According to a study, Americans touch their phones over 2,600 times in a day. Pings, notifications, and messages keep flashing on the screen. According to N. Carr, tech and culture author, we know enough to be worried about our smartphones’ influence over our lives. We are bound to check all those notifications, driven by the fear of missing out. The simple presence of a smartphone automatically encourages people to reduce day-to-day conversations and physical interactions. Why? Because we rely too much on phones. When something occurs outside the mobile realm, does it happen if there is no notification, data, or app to testify? More worryingly, people seem to be losing the ability to read emotional cues when they don’t have a screen covered in emojis for guidance. Yet, we can’t take the phone away from our routine because we’re too dependent on it.

Blue light effect

The phone screen is often the last thing you see before going to bed. Whether you set up your alarm or check your emails a last time, the blue light can affect your sleeping patterns. Our circadian rhythms interpret blue light as a sign that the body and mind should be active. Blue lights mean daytime, as some of the sun UVs are natural blue light. Even though screens produce artificial blue light, it is sufficient to trick the brain into believing it’s daytime. As a result, you might struggle to fall asleep, or your sleeping patterns could be disrupted — so you wake up frequently during the night. Our screens harm sleep quality, making us more vulnerable to stressful triggers.

They encourage relaxation

However, some people rely on their movies to soothe their worried minds. And guess what? It can be equally successful!

Create a relaxing playlist and listen

We all understand the role of music in our well-being. Music can generate positive emotions, helping people fight off stress or depression. Creating a soothing playlist that you can access with a click on your mobile can have a tremendous effect on your mental health. Music is proven to decrease cortisol levels — the stress hormone — and increase serotonin, dopamine, and endorphin levels — happy hormones.

Meditation and counseling support

Sometimes, you need to stop your mind from racing through anxiety-inducing ideas. Your phone can give you access to some of the best relaxing apps and contacts available. An app such as Talkspace allows individuals to reach out to a helpful and supportive therapy network. The app can also be part of your health insurance cover, providing access to live video therapy or text messaging as and when needed.

If you prefer a self-help approach, countless meditation apps can also help you relax your mind and regain control. Headspace has grown in popularity during the pandemic for its accessible format, introducing the benefits of meditation to beginners and seasoned users.

Is your phone stressful or a tool of relaxation? There is no black or white answer. Like most things in life, it’s often up to you to define what kind of interaction you want with your phone.

Unsure if You Have a Dental Phobia? 5 Signs You May Need a Bit of Help with Your Dental Worries

Although the people who have it usually do not want to talk about it, dental fears are exceedingly common. And while many people who suffer from dental phobias may feel alone, as many as 7 out of 10 dental patients report having anxiety when it comes to seeing their dental team. Usually linked to an unsympathetic dental professional in their past, learned behaviours from an older family member or sensory-based issues, it is important, for both your physical and mental health, that any dental concerns you may have are managed professionally to help you feel more at ease in the dental chair. But what are some of the signs that you may be more than a bit worried about and need some help seeing your dentist in Southgate?

Panic

Physically, panic can feel similar to a heart attack.

Many people, who panic about seeing their dental team, report a fast heart rate, sweating and a feeling of being crushed around their chest whenever they get into the dental chair. Depending on how severe your phobia is, you may feel this sensation when walking past a dental surgery. If you suffer from panic, talk to your dental professional from Southgate about it and discuss the sedation options that they can provide you with.

Fainting

A step up from blind panic (and usually following a panic-based episode) is fainting. Also referred to as syncope, fainting is related to the fight or flight response and is usually caused by low blood pressure. If you faint when in your local dental surgery, you may need more intensive help to face your phobias, such as counselling or cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

Depression

Do you feel depressed in the lead up to a dental check-up? Do you feel depressed directly after attending one? Both of these are signs that you have some kind of anxiety revolving around this procedure. If prevalent, you may need to seek the help of a trained therapist or counsellor to help you explore why you feel this way about dental appointments.

Avoidance

It is common for humans to avoid things that they do not like. If you have anxiety or phobias surrounding dental check-ups, then you are more likely to ignore those texts and emails reminding you to attend a trip to your nearby surgery. If you avoid check-ups, there is a higher chance of the underlying issues being missed and any treatments being more invasive when they do occur. This can then serve as another source of anxiety and add to the phobia.

If you can relate to this, talk to your dental team and explore anxiety-reducing options.

Withdrawal

If you mentally withdraw during your check-ups (being non-responsive and/or acting distant), this is a sign of a low-key panic disorder. While somewhat harmless, this can build in intensity if left untreated, prompting more severe anxiety responses in the future. If you do seem to have issues remembering check-ups or have been told you phase out, seek psychological help and discuss this with your dental team.
