Use a good release agent 

One of the biggest problems newcomers face when creating with something such as resin is getting it away from the mould once you are done. The best way to negate this problem and ensure smooth removal when you have dried your resin is to use good quality rubber molding release agents. Using a spray such as these will just add that element of greasing needed to help you along the way. 

Use a heat gun 

It is so important when you are working with resin that you use a heat gun on it when wet to get rid of air bubbles. When mixing resin and pouring it it is all too easy to end up with air bubbles in your piece and these bubbles get in the way and disrupt the design of your resin piece. By using a heat gun on freshly poured resin you will be able to avoid the issue of air bubbles and end up with a smooth and professional looking product. If you don’t have access to a heat gun you can also use a hairdryer for a similar effect. 

Sand and wax 

When working with resin you still need to do work when you have finished pouring the resin. Once dried, now is the time to sand and polish your piece to bring out that beautiful shine and make the piece picture perfect! 

Resin crafting is a brilliant thing to try this year to make some money and you may even one day be able to make a small business from these works.

What To Do After A DUI

No one wants a DUI. No one wants to get behind the wheel of a car and cause an accident – but it happens. No one wants to have to tell their friends and loved ones that they weren’t careful with their life or with the lives of others. The thing is, this happens every single day. People have a great night with their friends and they drive. Or, they have a drink with a friend and then don’t drive for several hours – and still have a high blood alcohol level without realizing it.

Whether you have been pulled over for drinking and driving or having drugs in your system while you drive, you need to know what to do after you are issued with a DUI. If there is a chance that you could speak to an expungement lawyer and get your record squashed, that’s not something to concentrate on for right now. There are other things to do – and we’ve listed the four things that you must immediately do once you have been arrested.

  • Remember, 10 Day Countdown.

You only get to have your license for ten days following an DUI arrest. The citation you get is a temporary license that allows you ten further days of driving, and after that, your license is suspended for six months depending on your blood alcohol level. From here, your lawyer can request a hearing to have your driving extended temporarily. You only have ten days to do this, and your attorney will have time to request all of the records and reports for the hearing itself. If they win, you can get your driving back. If they lose, you lose all your privileges for 30 days depending on your blood alcohol level.

  • Go To The Arraignment

You will have been given a date of arraignment, and this is the first appearance that you will go to where you will enter a plea as advised by your attorney. Even if you don’t have legal representation, you need to appear and you can ask the judge for more time to hire a lawyer.

  • Write It All Down

Even if you are compromised, you need to write everything that you remember down after the arrest. The whole day from start to finish needs to be written down to be remembered, and write to everyone you encountered, too, as they may be witnesses to your case.

  • Meet With An Attorney

You need a proper DUI attorney to discuss your case. You want the experts here – this could affect your whole future. The right attorney is going to help you to get through this case, advise you on what to say and what not to say. They will also be able to tell you what could be the end result from the arrest. You need to listen to your attorney and ensure that you understand what they are telling you. Anything you don’t understand, speak up!

If there is one lesson to be learned after a DUI, it’s never to repeat the process. You learn your lesson and you grow from it.
