These days there are several options for you to choose from. If you only need a desk for sitting a computer on then a standard one is fine; other jobs, however, might require you to stand or move around. You want a mug that’s large enough to satisfy your tea or coffee capacity, you don’t want to continually leave your job to boil the kettle – it’s wasteful and inefficient. Try to get a mug that also stores heat well. For a kettle it’s best to get one that’s fast boiling and eco friendly.
One aspect of the home office people tend to overlook is the light levels. The lighting in your home office can affect your mood and productivity, especially in the winter. You may not want a main light on all the time, it can give you a headache over long periods of time, but if you use a lamp you need to make sure it gives you enough essential light to work with.
